Changing Places: New Appointments at X, Diageo, and Hispanic Radio Networks

Personnel changes at prominent companies within the advertising and beverage industries

In recent weeks, numerous high-profile appointments have been announced at leading companies across various industries.

X (formerly Google)

The internet giant has appointed Sundar Pichai as its new CEO. Pichai is a long-time Google employee who has been with the company for over 15 years. He has held various leadership roles at Google, including SVP of product and engineering, and most recently, CEO of Google Cloud.

In his new role as CEO, Pichai will be responsible for overseeing Google's overall operations and leading the company into the future. He will report to Alphabet CEO Larry Page.

Diageo

The world's largest spirits company has appointed Ivan Menezes as its new CEO. Menezes is a Diageo veteran who has been with the company for over 20 years. He has held various leadership roles at Diageo, including president of Diageo North America, and most recently, chief operating officer.

In his new role as CEO, Menezes will be responsible for overseeing Diageo's overall operations and leading the company into the future. He will report to Diageo chairman Roger Ramsden.

Hispanic Radio Networks

The largest Spanish-language radio network in the United States has appointed Jesus Salas as its new president and CEO. Salas is a media executive with over 20 years of experience in the Hispanic media market. He has held various leadership roles at Univision and most recently, Telemundo.

In his new role as president and CEO, Salas will be responsible for overseeing HRN's overall operations and leading the company into the future. He will report to HRN's parent company, Spanish Broadcasting System.
