The hotfix includes an updated version of the Microsoft Windows 7 and XP device driver for the ACPI. Additionally, it provides support for Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 in Windows 7 Service Pack.
Technical Details
When using Windows 7, the Unknown Devices in Device Manager can display multiple errors. This hotfix resolves these errors by updating the ACPIMSFT0101 device driver to version 1.0.3.1. Details on the device will show "ACPIMSFT0101 Figure 1 English only." Unfortunately, there is no Windows 7 32-bit driver for this device. However, switching to Windows 7 64-bit and installing the hotfix will resolve the issue.
